Ultrasound guided sclerotherapy (UGS) is used for veins that are deeper and not visible on the surface. An ultrasound is used to guide the injection of a sclerosing agent into the vein, causing it to collapse and eventually fade away. This technique ensures precise treatment of the targeted vein.
Sclerotherapy

The procedure typically requires no downtime, and patients can usually resume normal activities immediately afterward. Some vessels are too large to be treated with this method and may require EVLA.
